DON multiple Clinics Wisconsin. This is a health system that is looking for DON who be responsible for several clinics.  The Director of nursing serves as the Clinic’s senior nurse providing clinical expertise, training and education for clinical staff and leadership.  Provides consultation and recommendations to senior leadership in regard to nursing policies, procedures, practices, standards, education and staff development.  Works collaboratively with clinic management team to implement clinical best practice.  Serves as the nursing liaison with nursing leadership of the hospital.  Promotes and supports the process of quality improvement in patient care.  Responsible for supervision and overall management of float pool staff.  You have a current RN license and are BSN prepared.  MSN preferred. You have 5 yrs nursing experience, with at least three years experience in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting strongly preferred.  We will consider a combination of leadership experience in a case management or quality setting.  Demonstrated leadership experience required. Direct management experience preferred. Prior electronic health record experience desired.   LSS Green Belt required within 1 year of hire. Relocation will be offered in the amount of 5-7k. Possible sign on bonus. Small number of direct reports. Reports in to the Regional Administrator (COO)

Requirements:
•Has or can obtain any necessary License in-state of employment
•Minimum of three years nursing experience required.
•Prior experience in specialty or skill-set associated with position required.
• Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
•Requires physical stamina and emotional stability.

• Serves as a visible leader. Energizes, and communicates effectively with other leaders, Practice Managers, Clinicians, and staff.
• Participates with creation and execution of regional strategic plan.
• Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of clinical practice and services, identifying opportunities for improving patient services, and outcomes.
• Develops plans and facilitates the implementation of clinical services programming.
• Assures clinical staff, licensed and non-licensed, is functioning within scope of practice and applicable licensure.
• Partners with Education department to ensure competency of clinical staff through educational programming.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services as well as meets regulatory standards.
• Oversees/participates as appropriate in the performance management, including annual evaluation of clinical staff.
• Leads Service Excellence Initiatives to improve upon patient care; develops and implements subsequent curriculum.
• Demonstrates patient centric care as a priority and integrates this into decision making process, communications, and practices, and seeks to learn the “voice of the customer” to provide direction.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements;
• Assists with EHR implementation and serves as a resource for departmental colleagues.
• Assists with Ministry Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Participates in joint planning with Regional Health Care hospitals,and ancillary services.
Qualifications

HOSPITAL CONNECTION NETWORK

We will consider candidates that have documented experience in MDS and we prefer RN but will reveiw LPN
Summary:  Responsible for the timely scheduling, completion, and transmission of MDS.
Qualifications:
Education: 
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, RN preferred.
Licenses/Certification: 
- Valid nursing license in the state employed.
- Valid CPR certification.
Experience:
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors and guides the completion of PPS and OBRA assessments and RAPS.
- UR Coordinator
- Oversees gathering of information for assessments and care plans.
- MAR’s treatment, flow sheets, physician orders
- Assesses prospective residents in conjunction with other team members.
- Data warehouse reports and QI reports
- Schedules and facilitates care plan conferences.
- Participates on committees
- Inputs or supervises the input of MDS assessments into the RCS, the transmission to the state, and obtains receipt of validation.
- Manages Care Planning Process
- Performs the functions of a nurse when required.
- Performs other tasks as assigned. On-call

Assists with the contract negotiation processes by attending necessary meetings and making recommendations to the Managed Care negotiators regarding terms of the contract including discussions with various regional and hospital management.
Develops working relationship between IMaCS (Accuro), Conifer, and the Managed Care negotiators for resolution and feedback of any related items.  Management, oversight, and performance review of the contract modeling process and service.  Management, oversight, and auditing of the system contract loading and maintenance functions.  Responsibilities related to communicating and interfacing with IMaCS (Accuro), Regional Managed Care directors (negotiators), Conifer staff, facility CFOs, regional CFO, managed care payers, etc.
