  Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery - 57595

Qualifications
 
Credentialing and certification as a CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) along with formal education in human anatomy, physiology, disease processes and medical terminology is required. A RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) credentialing is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years experience of HIM Management and a minimum of two years previous training experience is required; extensive training experience is preferred with demonstrated skills in the development and presentation of educational materials. Extensive knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding principles and guidelines are required as well as extensive knowledge of Prospective Payment Systems and understanding of the revenue cycle process.
