Supervises staff and ensures coordination of operational and financial management services. Also performs delegated managerial responsibilities and facilitates specified services provided by other departments and medical staff.
Within the scope of this position, this person maintains twenty-four hour accountability for unit functions
Supervises the Cardiac Cath Lab functions
qualification:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Must be a registered pharmacist in the State of Arizona or become registered within the initial three-month appraisal period. Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Arizona.
Qualifications
Current licensure as a registered nurse.
Maintains current Healthcare Provider BLS certification. BSN preferred.
Successfully completes general nursing and unit orientation. Effective communication skills; both orally and written. Computer skills needed. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong problem solving skills. Good customer service skills.

The Telemetry Registered Nurse reports directly to the unit Clinical Manager, and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process in accordance with physicians’ orders, established policies and procedures, established professional standards, and administrative hospital-wide policies.
Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN desired.
• Current State Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR card.
• Current ACLS Provider card required within one year of hire date.
Key Accountabilities / Competencies for Histology Technician/Technologist:
1. Follows assigned work detail by efficiently prioritizing work load.
2. Performs special stains, including controls, logs in results of controls.
3. Must have the experience (minimun one year on the job) to troubleshoot/resolve processor problems.
Documents corrective action when necessary.
4. Must have quality skills in cutting, staining and embedding of tissue samples.
5. Is accurate in daily billing counts and recording Quality Control.
6. Performs accurate labeling and filing of slides and blocks.
7. Keeps Gross Room and Histology stocked, cleaned and free of safety hazards.
9. Communicates with lab personnel and medical professionals in resolving problems, promoting harmonious
relationships between hospital departments and coordinating services rendered by the laboratory.
10. Demonstrates knowledge of the occurence reporting system and uses the system to report potential safety
issues.
11. Is willing and able to be available (on-call) during the weekend (Friday night through Monday morning) to
come into the hospital to fix or repair any insturment malfunction in the Histology department. Must have
at least one full year experience on the job before being eligible for on-call.
Provides all aspects of respiratory care on patients of all ages, including patient and family education as indicated. Critical care, labor and delivery, and nursery exp preferred
The Director of Case Management will develop procedures that balance clinical and financial concerns while providing service excellence. The Director will oversee a staff of case managers and implement or revise case management programs including utilization review, intake or discharge planning, and managed care contracting or negotiation. Specifically the Director will be responsible for: Identifying services that can be provided more economically in an alternative care setting Monitoring proposals for level of care and consulting on efficiency improvements Identifying over and under utilization trends and inefficient use of hospital resources Communicating effectively with finance department in resolution of third party pay issues Interviewing, hiring, orienting and training new case management staff Assisting with challenging case management issues as necessary Communicating with Physicians on Discharge Planning
Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The staff therapist coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (PT Aide, PTA, etc.). The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines. Ensures that patient changes are accurate and entered on a timely basis. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.
Two or more years of Cath Lab and or Electrophysiology experience. Must be able to perform all procedures, duties as required of a technologist. Degree in related filed preferred (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or years of equivalent experience. Current licensure as RCIS or Rt preferred. Completion of training programs required or equivalent. Must be able to be a mentor to new staff and support all areas of the cardiovascular service line. ACLS/BLS (CPR)
Department administrator. Establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards and objectives. Directs and supervises staff as well as work flow. Position has budgetary or fiscal accountability. Responsible 24 hours a day for the ongoing effective operation of the Pharmacy by exerting a leadership role which supports the hospital’s mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers. Ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of the department services and standards of care into the hospital’s primary function.
