JOB SUMMARY : The Director is an administrative leader who is responsible for implementing the organizational and the departmental mission, vision, values and goals.  The Director is responsible for all aspects of staff management,  departmental management, and for creating a professional practice environment that focuses on the customer.  Administrative responsibilities include: budget preparation, performance reviews, quality improvement programs, professional developmental programs for staff, and preparation and maintenance of regulatory requirements, such as JCAHO, OSHA, etc.  The Director is responsible for communicating the above to the staff  and other members of the healthcare and administrative team.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Five years clinical nursing experience including two years of leadership experience with understanding of clinical practice in specified area preferred.  Strong familiarity with all aspects of hospital operations and experience in fiscal and human resources.

EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited BSN program.  Masters degree preferred.  Certification preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: State of Montana licensure as a Registered Nurse.  BLS required.
