Sr. Clinical Project Manager/MA

 The Sr. Clinical Project Manager, Professional Services will be primarily responsible for the implementation of the Exam Stage of  EHR - Clinicals. In executing this role, the Sr. Clinical Project Manager will work closely with physicians and other clinical staff of athena’s customers, to design, customize, and rollout the electronic patient visit documentation workflows of Clinicals. This process will regularly occur after the customer is live on the other components of our solutions and services. In performing this responsibility, the Sr. Clinical Project Manager will be assigned to multiple implementations simultaneously, which could be in various regions of the country. This position requires up to 50% nationwide travel. The Sr. Clinical Project Manager is an exciting new role as a result of our explosive growth.

The Sr. Clinical Project Manager, Professional Services reports to the Engagement Manager, Professional Services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Direct the rollout of the eExam stage of Clinicals and serve as primary customer contact throughout the project
- Independently develop, manage, execute, and own overall project plan and timelines for key deliverables involved in the rollout
- Lead and manage project team to ensure timely and effective completion of project assignment and other tasks
- Establish clear definition of customer’s implementation responsibilities and company responsibilities with each implementation
- Work with customer’s EHR Team, physicians and other clinical staff to understand current visit documentation workflow and training processes for physicians, departments, practices, and/or specialties.
- Provide guidance to the customer’s EHR Team, physicians and other clinical staff in development of best practices documentation workflow and content modification/creation of clinical templates
- Modify/Create clinical templates
- Work with customer’s EHR Team to refine training programs for physicians and other clinical staff
- Organize and lead training sessions;
- Provide on-site support during the eExam “go live” period

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred;
- Nurse Practitioner; Registered Nurse; Physician Assistant; Medical Assistant preferred
- Experience within clinical setting of a physician office
- Experience with EHR programs involving the use of electronic order entry, clinical documentation, medication management.
- Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibility for various assigned projects;
- Polished communication skills and comfort with diverse audiences
- Strong analytic capabilities
