The Assistant Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse supervises nursing service activities in assigned nursing unit for the duration of the assigned shift or in the absence of nursing management.  The task and responsibilities of this position include:

Participates actively in the planning and distribution of patient assignments.
Evaluates the effectiveness of care and addresses any issues that affect the desired patient outcomes.
Supports nursing staff in communication with physicians to include accepting doctors’ orders and communicating patient condition.
Facilitates the process of reporting patient status to the following shift of nursing personnel.
Manages the nursing care of assigned patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. 
Assesses plans and evaluates patient care needs. 
Carries out physician orders.

Responsible for planning, administering and evaluating the operation of a consolidated nursing department.  In so doing, assigns duties to department personnel based on patient’s needs, staffing availability and work priority to ensure high quality of patient care.  Serves as resource person for resolving operational and patient care problems.

POSITION SUMMARY
The PHYSICAL THERAPIST evaluates for, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy.  The Physical Therapist collaborates with the members of the interdisciplinary care team; prepares written documentation pertaining to patient evaluation and treatment sessions; schedules patient treatments and meetings; supervises the work of Certified Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA’s), Rehabilitation Aides, and Student Physical Therapists and Student Physical Therapist Assistants; assists in preparing and conducting inservice training and continuing education programs; may participate in Performance Improvement activities and processes; and is expected to support the mission, vision, and values of the Medical Center.

 Community Hospital is looking for a Blood Bank Supervisor with both technical expertise and people management skills required to oversee our busy blood bank.  Supervisory responsibilities include Quality Control, Proficiency testing, personnel training, scheduling coverage, and interacting with nurses, physicians and patients.

Successful candidate will have an SBB or BS in Medical Technology with at lease five years supervisory experience and the ability to asses and implement new technologies such as Blood Bank automation.
