Cardiac Cath Lab RN Responsibilities;
- General nursing activities in the Cardiac Cath Lab, providing quality patient care. Incumbent will provide all nursing care during special procedures (Angiography, Cardiac Catheterization, etc.).
- Assisting with the planning and presentation of departmental in-services and to cross train in areas outside the normal nursing responsibilities.
- Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for several patients during a designated time frame while following policies and procedures.
- Prioritizes and organizes patient flow to ensure best utilization of time.
Required Job Qualifications include:
- Current RN license
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS.
- Minimum 1 year Cardiac Cath Lab Experience
- Current Knowledge of ECG monitoring
- I.A.B.P. experience preferred
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Clinically proficient in cath lab procedures demonstrating a knowledge of the developmental needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patients

This position operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologist. Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by the physician.
The ARRT in this department provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.
Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology.
Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.
Licensure/
Certifications: ARRT Registration or registry eligible within 1 year of employment
Experience: Two years of experience as ARRT preferred. Will consider graduates.
