Description
The Director of Healthcare Informatics assumes primary responsibility for the implementation, support and maintenance for all aspects of the HMS modules and helps support the IT department as backup support on the AS400 and the network. Confers with the Information Systems Directors to determine information technology needs for hardware and software related to HMS and other clinical applications. Initial response to help desk calls made within the last 24 hours. Maintain equipment and PC software records. Works with IS to align information technology with the business needs of the facility. Train or arrange of personnel in proper use and maintenance of software and equipment. Keeps current with principals and practices, technology, regulations and standards that apply to healthcare information technology.
Qualifications
Must have 3 or more years experience in clinical license and clinical experience (RN, LPN, Allied Health). Well organized and self motivated with multiple project management skills. Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of multi-disciplinary teams. Knowledge and experience with AS400 helpful. Knowledge and experience troubleshooting hardware and software issue a plus. Previous experience with clinical documentation systems required such as EMAR, CPOE and nursing documentation. Some technical background preferred including a hands on use capability in building computerized forms and trouble shooting the clinical program. This role must understand the clinical application and how it works with other IT systems.
The individual will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established department and hospital policies and procedures. Must possess effective communication skills, written and verbal, as well as good problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage tasks.

The Human Resources Director reports to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is accountable for defining, developing and implementing human resources initiatives consistent with MC’s strategic goals. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Human Resources, Masters preferred.
