This position is a full-time clinical coordinator position on our 18-bed step-down unit. Come join our wonderful team of experienced Telemetry nurses! We are seeking a professional, preferably a Telemetry and/or ICU experienced RN, with previous experience as a clinical coordinator or in a supervisory role to complete our leadership team for Telemetry. This position will work 3-12 hour day/evening shifts along with a second Coordinator who will be sharing the responsibilties of the unit.

Position Summary: The Nurse Educator functions as an educational and clinical resource for Patient Services personnel. Educational services include the development, coordination, and/or instruction of educational programs designed to meet the needs of the professional and non-professional personnel and which are in accordance with the goals and objectives of the hospital and the Patient Services Department. The educator will function as an informal consultant to facilitate holistic nursing care of patients and their families/significant other. He/she will also be actively involved as planner; facilitator and/or participant in any ongoing research related to the clinical outcomes of patients or education outcomes of staff.
