The cardiac catheterization nurse will be an active member of the cardiac catheterization team performing nursing, technical & administrative tasks related to cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology/ablation & tilt testing. Primary duties will relate to care of the patient during procedures, but will extend to the pre & post procedure period. Nursing skills such as placement of electrodes & restraints, starting an intravenous line, dispensing medications, monitoring vital signs, doing physical assessments, performing sterilization procedures, maintaining sterile technique & maintaining the patient flowsheet are essential job functions.
 
 
Qualifications
Registered nurse, license to practice in Floirida
Neonatal/pediatric experience preferred
Experience in a cardiac cath lab or cardiac care unit preferred
PALS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Conscious sedation training

The Supervisor of the Core Laboratory will be responsible for the operation of the department in general, specifically on the 2nd Shift.  The position strives to ensure efficient and effective patient care services though the use of well-developed and documented technical, personnel, and financial standards of the department.
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Biological Science preferred
Graduate of NCCLS approved curriculum
ASCP certified or eligible
5 years of current supervisory experience preferred

Oncology Nurse opening 

The Registered Nurse is responsible for examinations, treatments and educating the patients on chemotherapy side effects. This position is also involved with scheduling patients appointments, answering the telephone and maintaining the exam rooms.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One year of professional nursing experience in a physician practice setting preferred. Possession of a State Registered Nurse license. Current CPR certification. ONC certified. Oncology experience preferred.

Using the nutritional care process, the incumbent is responsible to screen, assess, plan and provide for nutritional care and education to patient populations servied.  May also be assigned commnity nutritional education taskings.  Poovide nutritional care to patients in compliance with hospital, government and JCAHO standards and regulations. Provides nutrition care plans, consultations, diet instructions, nutrition recommendations to physicians and ensures that patients receive optimal nutritional care. Graduate of a four-year program in clinical nutrition or dietetics with ADA registration.  Completion of approved American Dietetic Association internship is required.  Registered Dietitian or registry eligible.
