Reporting to the Medical Director of Perioperative Services (MDPOS), the Administrative Director, Perioperative Services works with the Chief Operating Officer Hospital, Surgeon-in-Chief, Anesthesiologist-in-Chief, Medical Director of Perioperative Services (MDPOS) and Perioperative Nursing Director to manage and oversee the function of Perioperative Services. This includes setting and meeting goals, managing the surgical schedule, staffing, capital planning (facilities and technology), information systems management, and statistical/financial reporting. Coordinates appropriate quality management programs throughout Perioperative Services in order to meet JCAHO, CMS, HIPAA and other regulatory requirements and to ensure the provision of the highest quality patient care. This position serves as the designee of the MDPOS in his/her absence. Incumbent may function in the role of the MDPOS in the event the MDPOS is unable to fulfill his/her responsibilities.
Education: Requires a Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of data management and data modeling. Knowledge of financial and statistical principles. Competency in market analysis and business plan development. Familiarity with federal, state and local regulations impacting healthcare and the field of transplantation.

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy and licensed to practice in the State of Florida. Doctor of Pharmacy degree or B.S. in pharmacy with equivalent experience. Ability to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job. If MHA and/or own vehicle used on Association business, must possess valid Florida Driver’s License and upon request proof of liability insurance. Preferred Qualifications: One year of practicial experience as a pharmacist of which six months have been gained in a hospital or equivalent practice setting. Residency in hospital pharmacy. Previous experience with a dedicated pharmacy computer system. Experience with a personal computer and associated programs. Ability to work independently. Excellent verbal/written interpersonal communication skills.

Administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of cardiopulmonary system under the supervision of a physician and written orders.
Graduate of an accredited program of Respiratory Therapy. AS or BS degree required. CRT or RRT
Must have current state licensure to practice and be Certified or Registered by the NBRC. BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
