 Qualifications
Required Education/Licensing:

Bachelors degree in nursing preferred (or demonstrated progress towards attainment

of other clinical or management degree) and participation in advanced education and or/certification in area of expertise required. Masters’s degree preferred.

Required Work Related Experience:

Three - five years of progressive population-specific and/or service clinical experience required. Management experience desired.

CPR Required
Current State  RN license
Is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The registered professional nurse assesses, plans, intervenes and evaluates individual patient care in an ambulatory unit according to unit policies and procedures. Also directs and guides patient teaching activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Accepts responsibility for the implementation of plan of care. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. A 33-bed medical/surgical unit with an emphasis on surgical patients. Most common diagnoses: Surgery and Orthopedics. Delivery of care - modified team.
