Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business, Health Services, or Hospital Administration, and ACLS and CNOR certification are preferred. Current knowledge of State, Federal, and professional industry standards pertaining to healthcare practice is desired.

8. Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume that could impact staffing levels, revenues or expenses.

9. Evaluates performance of Clinical Supervisors and/or case managers.

10. Assists Clinical Supervisors to develop skills and techniques in evaluating the performance of clinicians.

11. Hires, Evaluates, and terminates organization personnel.

12. Conducts annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated.

13. Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.

This is an in-patient Hemodialysis Unit which assumes 24-hour accountability for the management and direction of Hemodialysis along with the human and material resources necessary to provide quality patient care and service. The Director must be able to develop and operationalize their communicated direction and the objectives of the immediate supervisor. The Director must demonstrate skills and experience generally acquired through a Bachelor’s degree and experience in End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD); some business skills and managerial experience, solid reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, team leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Director must perform advanced computer skills and possess high integrity.
Education:
BSN or an Associate in Nursing with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Masters Preferred
Experience:
RN with current certification from a nationally recognized Nephrology nursing or Hemodialysis Organization. Preferred CCRN and ACLS. At least 5 years of total related work experience in the care of ESRD patients and Hemodialysis. Knowledgeable about AAMI standards.

The manager will represent the Cath lab at all Meetings, prepare all budgetary reports, develop all required policies/procedures & protocols, document monthly statistical summaries/variances and act as a liaison between the lab, other departments, hospitals, physicians and their offices. The manager will work with the nurse, senior technologist and educator to assure all staff competencies, evaluations and actions are documented and completed on time. The position reports directly to the Director of the CV Service Line.

Strong team building skills. Ability to develop a culture of respect and accountability through structure and throughput development. Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, physicians, families, employees, administrators, and the public under varied conditions. Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and critical decision-making skills necessary. Ability to demonstrate mature and responsible attitude when dealing with confidential information pertaining to Healthcare business. Technical Expertise: Completes job-specific competencies. Description
