Emergency Room Director. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse  with a Bachelors or Master’s Degree and 5- 10  Emergency Room Director.The Director is responsible for planning ,implementing and controlling activities,operations and programs within the department.
Requirements

Must have 5-7 years of Emergency Room Management Experience. Must be a  strong Leader with excellent communication skills. Be able to make Sound Judgement, organize and have the initiative to execute independent action and begin working without supervision.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas. A diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.

Experience: Previous operating room experience preferred.

Physical: Mobility, sight, hearing, verbal communication, changes in temperature, exposure to disagreeable elements, exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Frequent standing and walking. Lifting up to 100lbs. Carrying up to 40lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 400lbs.

JOB SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse directly responsible for the therapeutic care of patients. The Registered Nurse must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process. The RN will serve as a role model for LPN’s, Scrub Tech’s and students by demonstrating clinical competency and leadership. The RN must be capable of service as charge nurse in the absence of the OR Manager. The RN must promote good public relations for the dept, the nursing division, and the medical center while maintaining patient confidentiality. Must be able to communicate effectively and project a positive, professional attitude toward patients, staff, visitors and students; perform the day-to-day nursing tasks appropriately; and conduct him/herself in a professional manner and dress appropriately.

Job Details: - High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

 Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, directing, executing, and evaluating all aspects of the pharmacy services for the hospital. Recent Hospital experience preferred. New Grads are encouraged to apply.
Engages in all aspects of pharmaceutical care including pharmacokinetic and warfarin dosing consultations, renal dose adjustment, antibiotic monitoring, patient education, responding to drug information questions, as well as computer order entry and verification. Consults with medical staff regarding drug therapy, suggesting alternative drug therapy as appropriate. Compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical supplies according to professional standards and practices.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an AACP-accredited School of Pharmacy. Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State  and in good standing with both a Pharmacy Registration and Controlled Substance License.

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.

RN Med/Surg FT

Assesses patient status with patient/family input and identifies age-appropriate patient care needs and problems that includes bio-physical, psycho-social, spiritual, environment, self-care, and educational needs and will serve to focus the provision of nursing care at admission, transfer, and discharge.

Plans individualized age appropriate evidence-based patient care through a interdisciplinary team approach and through interdisciplinary patient care conference, ongoing patient assessments, re-evaluation of patient problems or needs.

Utilizes professional skills and judgement in prescribing, delegating and coordinating the plan of care; includes appropriate resources to manage patient care path/CareMaps/variances. Administers medications and treatments according to nursing policy.

Nurse Manager for the Operating Room to work Monday through Friday with 24/7 beeper coverage/responsibility.  Covers Main Operating Room and Main Recovery Room.

BSN required, but Masters preferred.  CNOR preferred.  MOR and/OR Ambulatory or Nursing required.  Excellent communication skills, high energy, self motivated, knowledge of finances, approachable and a team player.  Ability to manage a large number of employees.
