Director of Laboratory
Oversees and directs all laboratory functions for the organization, including the Reference Lab. Ensures organizational compliance with all legal requirements and government regulations that affect the laboratory (OSHA, CLIA, FDA, Medicare, and State.) Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization supported.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for oversight of the following laboratory units: microbiology, immunology/serology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, molecular testing, and chemistry.
• Plans and directs strategic objectives for reference laboratory and laboratory system.
• Identifies legal requirements and government regulations affecting the laboratory and company (OSHA, CLIA, FDA, Medicare, and State). Monitors the exposure of the company and advises the Executive Management Team and/or Medical Laboratory Director.
• Oversees Reference Laboratory personnel, technical operations, and laboratory operations. Assigns and distributes responsibilities in consultation with the COO of Clinic Operations and/or Medical Laboratory Director.
• Confers with Center Managers, and/or Medical Laboratory Director, and/or Executive Management Team for direction in laboratory system projects and objectives.
• Responsible for process improvement.
• Responsible for customer and patient satisfaction.
• Responsible for laboratory organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develops and monitors Reference Laboratory Budget. Provides Executive Management Team with relevant fiscal information.
• Oversees laboratory supply chain management in consultation with Materials Manager and Purchasing Manager.
• Oversees laboratory-billing processes. Responsible for all financial procedures and records. Maintains communication with Controller and provides relevant information.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Recognize and support the organization preferences and priorities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry or Laboratory Science. Master’s degree in Medical Technology related field or Business Administration.
Experience: Ten (10) or more years of laboratory experience in increasingly complex supervisory position.

This position is responsible for the 24hour management of multiple departments which may include: Cath Lab, EP Lab, Vascular Lab, CIMC, Outpatient, EKG, EEG, Stress and Echo units assuring patient care meets the standard of care.

Director of Quality

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration:

6. Completes final coding, abstracting and DRG assignment within 72 hours of discharge or maintains within 72 hours of adequate documentation.

7. Performs concurrent coding for Core Measures daily.

8. Participates in the daily Discharge Planning Meetings.

9. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Program Director opportunity


Program Director for School of Radiologic Technology is responsible for the direction, coordination and daily operation of the Radiology School. Responsibilities include curriculum development, didactic/clinical instruction, student supervision, student evaluation, academic counseling and coordination of various clinical sites. The Program Director assesses and insures the effectiveness of teh overall program in Radiologic Technology and maintains all standards for accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT).

Ideal candidate will have major part of technical experience in diagnostic technology.   The major focus of the program is diagnostic radiography which is the basis for all students then who want to branch out to the other areas under imaging.  This position is for an educator familiar with adult learning concepts and must have an affinity for working with students.  Must have a clear understanding and be up-to-date on JRC/ERT standards.  Must be a forward thinking candidate who will look at ways to promote the program for further clinical sites, expansion beyond diagnostic radiography and meeting new JRC/ERT standards.

We have been a leader in education and training of professional radiographers for years.  As an institution under the umbrella of the medical center, our students have the opportunities afforded by a hands-on hospital experience with a large radiology department, trauma center, neonatal ICU, Cancer Center, Gamma Knife, neuro-ortho floor, Liver Institute, Transplant Institute and rehabilitation unit. 

Ideal candidate would have experience as a program director or instructor of a radiology school either associated with a hospital or college/university.  Ideal candidate will not be from a company whose primary focus is sales of radiology equipment or computer programs, i.e. Cerner, IBM, PACS, etc

Dialysis Director of Nursing

Function:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is a registered nurse responsible for the clinical activities of the dialysis facility and/or home program.  The DON is also responsible for managing, directing, and hiring all clinical staff.  Collaborates with managers to provide timely, efficient, cost-effective quality care.

Qualifications:
1. RN licensed in the state of operation and in good standing.
2. Five (5) years of nursing experience with two (2) years dialysis experience.
3. Two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.
4. Evidence of demonstrated ability to supervise and direct personnel and deal tactfully with the community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a competent patient care staff that will deliver the required treatments to the in-center dialysis patient, self-care training staff and staff assisted caregivers that will provide the necessary training and support for home patients.
2. Enforce the rules and regulations relative to the level of health care and safety of the patients and to the protection of their personal and property rights.
3. Implement, review and evaluate the policies and procedures of the facility and coordinate the provision of services in accordance with the delegation of the governing body.
4. Organize and coordinate the clinical function of the facility, relegating duties as appropriate and establishing a formal means of accountability for those involved in patient care.
5. Familiarize the staff with the facility’s policies, rules and regulations and with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

7. Assist with inventory control and purchasing approvals for supplies and equipment with consultation and final approval by the Medical Director.
8. Ensure that the facility employs the required number of qualified employees needed, that all employees have appropriate orientation to the facility and their work responsibilities, and that employees have an opportunity for continuing education and related development activities.
9. Plan, organize and direct those responsibilities delegated by the governing body.
10. Authorize expenditures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
11. Supervise the completion, maintenance, and periodic updating of the policy and procedures manuals.
12. Through meetings and periodic reports, maintain an ongoing liaison between the governing body, medical and nursing personnel, and other medical and supervisory staff of the facility.
13. Assist with all reports that may be required by any regulatory agency such as CMS, Network, Medicaid, etc.
14. Act upon recommendations made by the medical staff, governing body, and medical review board.

1. Prepare and submit the RCP Home program payroll per RCP policy and procedure to include analysis of tolls    (including Sun Pass) and mileage.

2. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the direct supervision of care for RCP of Davie clinic patients on all shifts to include:
a. Administration of medications.
b. Rounding with the physician.
c. Scheduling of patient care staff to provide coverage during the hours of operation of the clinic.
d. Provide direct patient care to Home Program patients and RCP of Davie clinic patients in the absence of a caregiver on an as needed basis.
e. Prepare and submit the monthly Network Report.

 Responsibilities

We take a holistic view through the assessment and treatment of the physical, emotional, spiritual and lifestyle changes that com with age. Care is administered through our clinical team of professionals lead by a Psychiatrist and consisting of Nurses, Social Workers and Technicians who are specially trained in psychiatric care.
 
We place great value upon family involvement in the treatment process by urging

Assists with the development, revision, and enforcement of departmental policies, procedures, protocols, and standards to ensure quality care, efficiency, and procedural compliance.
Remains proficient in the use of NOVIUS, RMS, PACS, and other Radiology or Information Management systems as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  Education: Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.  BSN required/ or will consider ADN actively enrolled in BSN program pending completion within one (1)  year of employment.  Master’s Degree preferred. 

2.  Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in an areas of clinical practice.  Two (2) years management experience a plus. Charge Nurse and Case Management experience preferred.   

3.  Licensure: Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State 

4.  Other: CPR and ACLS within 2 weeks of employment.  Basic Computer Competence within 4 weeks of employment.

The Director of Respiratory Therapy/Cardio-Pulmonary candidate must be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program, and have a minimum of five years experience as a manager/supervisor in a Respiratory Therapy and/or Cardio-Pulmonary program managing a minimum of 40 employees in a mid - large hospital. NICU, Peds, and PICU experience is required.

License/Certification required: Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.  Practitioner of Respiratory Care license, Current Blood Gas General Supervisor License in State of Nevada. A current BCLS certificate. NRP and ACLS preferred.
