Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications Include:
Current licensure as an RN.
BSN required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred but can be matriculating.
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
Previous instruction experience required.
Competency in utilizing computer programs for developing instructional materials, tracking related data and communicating information.
BLS Healthcare Provider.
Able to speak, read and understand English fluently.
Director of Surgical Services
A 326-bed, full-service hospital in Texas. . L is the area’s primary healthcare provider and only heart hospital, offering complete diagnostic and interventional cardiology services. Its cardiology unit includes two open heart operating rooms, a Cardiac Cath Lab and inpatient rehabilitation. In addition, is the area’s only accredited Chest Pain Center. The Cancer Center, the Family Birth Center, and the Sleep and Seizure Center are other centers of excellence at the facility.
The Nursing Director is the leader for specified or assigned unit. Responsible for the patient population and assigned nursing and ancillary staff. Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities that take place on their assigned unit. Provide direction, support, and guidance to nurses and other staff. Twenty-four hour accountability for assigned unit.
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000
