Oversees and directs the activities of Respiratory Care Services.
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university
Must possess an Indiana RCP license
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Must be CPR certified (may obtain upon hire)
Must possess five years of full-time experience as a Respiratory Care Supervisor in a medium to large sized acute care hospital
Preferred applicant:
Will possess a specialty degree (NPS or CPFT)
Will possess five years of full time experience as a Respiratory Care Assistant Director or Respiratory Care Director in an acute care hospital

Performs initial evaluation of new patients and develops plan of care. Establishes long and short-term goals for patients. Maintains daily records of treatment and completes necessary patient care reports. Oversees PTA, Athletic Trainer and Physical Medicine/Rehab Tech, as appropriate. Participates in Performance Improvement activities, patient/family training and education, in-services, meetings and continuing education seminars to ensure quality care is provided.
