   Human Resources Manager II: Summary of Major Functions: Responsibility for all areas of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment and selection processes; position control and postings; personnel record creation and upkeep; employee and/or labor relations contact; performace evaluation processing; compensation management; on-site benefits and payroll management; organizational training in conjunciton with the Education Department. Reports directly to  Administrative Associate and Associate Administrator. Major duties and responsibilities: - Coordinates the hiring process from application through orientation and benefits initiation. - Maintains the payroll system to include entering all employee data in Lawson system. - Serves as lead payroll system time keeper (Kronos Workforce Central Time Keeper). - Obtains and maintains all required identification and paperwork on new employees. - Schedules new employees for orientation in conjuction with the Education Department. - Coordinates the administration of employee benefit programs such as medical coverage, dental coverage, group life, pension plans and other benefits. - Acts as source of information and takes primary ownership for communication of all employee related initiatives, topics and events, keepig leaders informed and involved to better serve their staff members. - Advises employees on eligibility provisions and other matters related to benefits. - Conducts computer skill and software testing of prospective employees. - Processes all paperwork for vested employees, retirees, etc
