Manager of Behavioral Health
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director directs and coordinates all operations of the unit. The Director acts as a liaison between the nursing unit and other departments, physicians, administration, hospital patients, guests and the community. The Director is responsible for all personnel assigned to the unit, capital and operational budgets, general policies and compliance with accrediting agencies.
Our ideal candidate for this position would be a Nursing Leader with Management experience. 5 years experience with direct patient care. 2-5 years management experience preferred. Will consider work experience and critical thinking ability. Excellent decision-making ability regarding when to notify others about issues or situations. Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively utilizing both written and verbal skills. Demonstrates initiative, integrity and strong sense of values and ethical standards.
