Minimum Qualifications:

RN with a BSN and Masters level preparation in health care management or public health required.  Demonstrated effective working relationship with physicians.  Self-motivated, proven communication skills, assertive and persuasive in interactions with management and staff level colleagues.  Demonstrated skills in business planning and targeted outcomes.  Current working knowledge of managed care, inpatient, outpatient, and the home health continuum, as well as utilization management and case management principles and practices.  Recent provider and payor experience and expertise.  Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and health care professionals at all levels to achieve established goals, improve quality of outcomes, and position MHHS for optimum success and market leadership.  Demonstrates commitment to the CCHS core values and behavioral expectations in all interactions and in performing all job duties.  Performs duties in a manner to promote quality patient care and customer service/satisfaction, while promoting safety, cost efficiency, and a commitment to the CQI process. Minimum of ten (10) years experience in nursing leadership at the Director or above level, to include five (5) years utilization management/case management experience. Administrative experience required. Experience in “system” work highly desirable. Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio; certification in Case Management. Must be available and able to attend both early morning and evening meetings at multi- hospital sites and drive to multiple locations.
