The Manager of Respiratory Therapy oversees the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department at both Hospitals. The Manager supports the vision of the Director and maintains current professional respiratory services on campus in cooperation with the Director.
Qualifications
Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care, Health Care Management or related field preferred. Minimum of Three years experience in a management position of a Respiratory Care Department in an acute hospital, preferably in an academic environment. Current License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner be the sate of California National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential Registered (RRT) Respiratory Care Practitioner BCLS certified.

Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the Imaging Services
Continuously assesses and improves the performance of patient care and Imaging Services.
Coordinates and provides in-service training and continuing education of all persons in the department.
This position is a working director position, willing to step in and take films when necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiology program
BS, BA or management experience, preferably 5 years or more in an acute care hospital.
Minimum Experience/Skills:
Previous supervisory experience in an acute care hospital.
