The PC Tech is a technical position supporting the computer environment at Hospital. These activities involve all areas of information technology, including hardware, software, printing, networking and user training issues. Additionally, this position may be assigned specialized tasks or assignments consistent with the needs of the organization. Communication is a critical part of this job and the technician must demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels regarding specific job activities.
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
This position requires general knowledge of personal computer issues and will be involved in hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair tasks. This position will also handle printer installation and maintenance. Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory® and general networking is required. This position will be expected to maintain an effective level of technical proficiency in order to meet the demands of the organization.
