Progressive Care unit Registered Nurse (Permanent job opportunity)
Busy Units. BSN preferred, Registered Nurse with acute care nursing experience, including direct patient care, patient/ family education and discharge planning. This nurse provides professional nursing care across practice settings and the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. Where nursing care is provided, the nursing process of assessing, diagnosing, outcome identification, planning, implementing and evaluating is the basis for care delivered. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient’s age-specific needs is required.

Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, families and friends, and supervising assigned team members.
The Registered Nurse supports and implements the philosophy, goals, standards, and values of Health System and the specific Nursing Department
The RN shall oversee and guide nursing employees that are under their supervision. Responsible for interaction with hospital staff and/or ancillary departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts with identification and assistance in resolutions. May be occasions when it will be necessary to work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and/or on-call/call-back status.
SALARY, BONUS AND RELOCATION:
60.000.+ YEAR + INCENTIVES
ASN or BSN with at least 1 + years experience in an Oncology acute care setting.
PALS or ENPC
TNCC or TCAR
Telemetry PCU/Stepdown experience in an acute care setting.
Certification in specialty area desirable.
five+ years experience
