Hospital Lab managerprovides financial and operational management and direction to of Laboratory
The delivery of services in all facilities must be performed in a highly cost effective manner while maintaining appropriate licensures and conditions as required by CLIA, OSHA, JCAHO, CAP and the System Laboratory Compliance Program. The incumbent must support both the long range strategic and operational goals of the hospitals in which the laboratories reside as well as the Regional Laboratories.
Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):
Minimum of Bachelors degree in healthcare or related field with additional formal training in medical laboratory sciences desirable as well as finance, economics, purchasing and operations management. MBA considered desirable but not required.
MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification (i.e., HEW, AMT, and NCA) desirable..
