FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:A complete list of demands for this position will be provided by Human Resources.
• Responsible for taking radiology, portables and cat scans. Performs Licensed in the state and ARRT. Experience in radiology, CT(if applicable), MRI (if applicable)
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Responsible for the maintenance of radiology equipment.
Transport patients when necessary
Each radiology specialist will be delegated specific duties and responsibilities relevant to function of the radiology department. These duties will include but are not limited to filing, scheduling of exams and other non-technical duties deemed necessary by the Director of Radiology.
Must have good communication skills, basic radiology skills, self-motivated, and multi-modality oriented.
Must be able to transfer images electronically as well as CD’s, optical disks, archives with minimal training.
ARRT certification is required (US).
Requires ARRT certification in Radiology as well as specialty classification with at least 1 year of experience prior to attaining this status.
Must obtain and maintain Permit to Practice License.
Licensed with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Salary commensurate with education, experience and all certified modalities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Valid License
Registration by the National Board of ARRT
BCLS required, ACLS preferred PALS certification desirable.
Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Candidates must have 2-5 years of acute care experience, must be RT, must have license , and have BCLS.
