The Registered Professional Nurse as defined by the Nurse Practice Act, diagnoses and treats human responses to actual and potential physical and emotional health problems; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, families and friends, and supervising assigned team members. The Registered Nurse supports and implements the philosophy, goals, standards, and values of Health System, the Nursing Department and the Emergency Department.
Emergency Department experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Knowledge of basic computer skills. Demonstrates the ability to successfully complete orientation and all associated competencies.
Current RN license by the State CPR: BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) or its equivalent required. ACLS and PALS/ENPC required within 1 year of hire. ”
Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
