EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two to four years recent PACU nursing experience
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Knowledge of surgical patients, operating room and skill in operating emergency equipment
Knowledge of state and federal regulations
Knowledge of PACU/Surgery/Anesthesia procedures
Knowledge of and ability to apply effective management techniques
Skill in conceptual and nursing administration, knowledge of hospital, philosophy, policies and resources
Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork and problem-solving to achieve goals
Demonstrated skills in verbal communication and listening
Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers
Ability to work under stressful conditions
Ability to develop and deliver effective training
Comments: Exempt position. May require extended hours.
