Qualifications:
Graduate from an approved school of nursing with current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina, possesses ACLS training and membership in AORN preferred.  Has knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing appropriate to the practice setting. Ten or more years recent clinical experience in Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Outpatient Surgical Services as well as Central Processing; including at least five years management experience.  They will emphasis on strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage working relationships.  BSN required, MSN preferred.

Pursues programs of continuing education consistent with requirements of Granville Medical Center.  Participates in educational conferences and updates and maintains professional knowledge and skills related to the management of areas of responsibility.  Processes information on the Center’s Health Information System as required in performing job responsibilities.
