Facility is looking for an Outpatient Revenue Coordinator to join our existing team! Overview: Responsible for all OP billing for accuracy and appropriateness. Coordinates resolution of all Outpatient Code Editor (OCE), National Corrective Coding Initiative (NCCI), Local Medical Review Policies (LRMP) and other denials with the Business office, HIM or ancillary department. Responsibilities: Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved Health Information Technology/Management program or AHIMA Independent Study which meets the requirements for certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or High School Diploma or equivalent GED for the Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Minimum Experience: Three years Outpatient coding experience required. Required Certifications/Licensure: Licensure Current Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Special Skills Understanding of billing and/or collections in a healthcare setting.
