The Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) provides direct and indirect perioperative nursing tasks for patients requiring surgical intervention. This person must be self-motivated, possess good communication skills and have the ability to prioritize in emergent situations.
This position requires a minimum of two years of cardiac first assisting experience including endovein and open vein harvest.
Strong multi-specialty first assisting experience including Neurological, Orthopedic, Vascular, Trauma, Gynecological and laparoscopic procedures required.
Required Job Qualifications include:
Call is required for this position.
First Assist Certification required.
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree and hold a current license from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
BCLS is required upon hire.
