Responsibilities:
Oversees daily activities of a unit/units by coordinating activities of professional and support staff. Ensures that patients’ needs are effectively met. Makes rounds with physicians and discusses cases and related matters. Administers special medications and therapeutic treatments as prescribed by physicians. Maintains supply of instruments, medicines, and patient care supplies. Assures that equipment is in good working order. Trains new employees and students. Interprets hospital regulations and policies to assigned staff. Assists physicians with examinations. Evaluates progress and determines needs of patients; makes notes as to treatment and progress ……
