The Outpatient Therapy Manager is responsible for the management of the Providence St. Peter Hospital Outpatient Therapy Services operation, at all Outpatient therapy sites. The responsibilities include directing all ancillary therapy activities, supervising department personnel, leading the development of interdisciplinary, evidence-based Outpatient rehabilitation programs. In addition, this position, assures adherence to all regulatory standards including Joint Commission standards, assuring an integrated approach to reimbursement. Supervises staff and promotes staff development in their designated service areas. Plans and implements programs and procedures to maximize patient care outcomes and department efficiency. Effectively communicates on multiple levels. Monitors quality, efficiency and effectiveness of outpatient therapy programs and makes recommendations for improvements. Sets budget goals and effectively manages assigned dollars. Assures continuous quality improvement and staff satisfaction. May assist in the management of the Department in the absence of the Director. Position directly supervises Physical/Occupational Therapists and Speech-Langauge Pathologists, PT/OT Assistants and Rehab Aides.

Reporting to the Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer, the Director of Emergency Services directs and coordinates all operations for the Emergency Department and Ambulance Services. The Director acts as a liaison between these units and other departments, physicians, administration, hospital patients, guest and the community. The Director is responsible for all personnel assigned to these units, capital and working budgets, supplies, general policies and compliance with accrediting agencies.
This is a level 3 trauma 25 room ER with 50 FTE’s just in the ER not including Ambulance. Volume averages 35,000 patients a year.
