Overall management of patient care. The staff PTA treats patients, in accordance with the orders of the referring physician through the use of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a patient’s life. The PTA functions in accordance with their State Practice Act, as applicable, and under the direction of a licensed PT.
