Primary Duties   Under the general supervision of the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, and in compliance with all applicable departmental and hospital policies, standards and regulatory requirements, prepares medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients of the Medical Center, its clinics and all eligible employees of the Medical Center. Researches and Communicates drug information to physicians, nurses, other health care personnel, patients and families.

Schedule   40 hour day/evening position.
Minimum Qualifications   Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with a current registration and up-to-date continuing education credits. One to two year’s hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture and parenteral chemotherapy admixture experience preferred. Must demonstrate ability to work independently, without direct supervision required, within established policy. Must be capable of supervising the work of support personnel
