Job Title: CHIEF NURSING OFFICER
Job Description: Fulltime salary executive management position. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the management and delivery of quality patient care. Maintains standards of patient care and advises medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Recommends establishment or revision or policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance departments as specified hereafter. Promotes working relationships with ancillary and community agencies. Initiates studies to evaluate effectiveness of services in relation to their objectives and costs. Has immediate management oversight for Outpatient Services/Oncology programs and OP Clinics. Performs executive administration oversight over Inpatient, ICU, OB, Mentoring Program, Perioperative Services, Cardiopulmonary (Neuro and Psych, Pulmonary Health), Cardiac Rehab., Nursing Education, Diabetes Education, Patient Education, Physical Therapy, UR/DP, Infection Control and Employee Health. Three - five years hospital/healthcare senior management or similar progressive organizational advancement. MHA or MBA or equivalent work experience required. Must be a dynamic leader with great communication skills.
