The Manager works with the Administrative Director in planning, developing, implementing and marketing respiratory care services (respiratory care and the pulmonary function lab.)  in accordance with   Medical Center’s vision, mission and long-range strategic plan.  Services provided will be cost-effective, reflective of current patient care standards, state and JCAHO regulations and in accordance with   Medical Center’s policies and procedures.  The Manager is responsible for coordinating program/ services with other local and state agencies to ensure integration of various programs and services.  The Manager is responsible for ensuring that assigned services are provided 24- hours/day, seven days/week and reports directly to the Administrative Director Cardiopulmonary/Vascular. Requirements:Valid  driver’s license required, Maine State Respiratory Care license as a therapist required , Must be an RRT, Basic Cardiac Life Support required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred ,Cardiac Arrhythmia Recognition preferred, Certifications or registry in area (cardiopulmonary, echocardiography, etc.) or related area preferred, 5 years or more, in respiratory care services and progressive           Management/supervisory experience in a healthcare/hospital setting required.
