Description:
Implements theory based nursing practice and enhances cost-effective quality patient care through the roles of educator, leader, mentor, preceptor, consultatnt, researcher & role model. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc
Requirements:
BS/BSN required. MA/MS/M.ED degree in Nursing or related health field. If Masters is non nursing BSN preferred. Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State . Current National certification in specialty. Certification in BLS through American Heart Association.
Minimum of three years current experience in areas of specialization required. One year experience with demonstrated leadership/management required. Minimum of one year education, teaching, preceptor or other experience preferred
