Description:
• Serves as the department leader and role model who effects the administrative changes necessary to deliver pharmaceutical care throughout the Medical Center for all patient age groups.
• Plans, organizes, directs and facilitates the integration of pharmaceutical services to all areas of the institution, assuring compliance with all pertinent laws, rules, and local, state, and federal regulations, regarding the storage and control, preparing, dispensing, and monitoring of medication.
• Integral member of numerous policy making teams and committees.
• Planning, organizing, implementing, directing, monitoring, reviewing, controlling, and supervising all aspects of personnel, budget, performance improvement, education, and polices/procedures for pharmacy to achieve maximum operating efficiency and effectiveness within budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
•Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
•Masters degree in hospital pharmacy or business administration preferable.
•License: Registration in as Pharmacist.
•Must have 5+ years management experience and strong communications and motivation skills
