Education:  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.  In depth knowledge of and ability to implement the AORN Standards and Recommended Practices for Peri-operative nursing.
Experience:  2-3 years experience in all specialty fields and general operating room procedures.  Previous management/ supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure:  Current registration
Skills:  Knowledge of supervisory/management techniques.  Leadership -acts as professional role model.  Organization; effective use of communication/IPR skills; ability to motivate.  Ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department’s computerized system and its associated devices.  Cares for patients ranging in age from Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, adults, Geriatrics.
