Manages and mentors personnel by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting appropriate staff. Quantifies care and provides for appropriate work force. Evaluates and counsels staff. Develops department goals that are consistent with hospital goals and mission. Collaborates with other hospital departments. Assures compliance with regulatory agency standards. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, holds a current RN license in the State , Baccalaureate degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years professional experience in acute care. 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred. BLS, ACLS preferred, computer literate (word processing, spread sheets, Windows applications), and excellent interpersonal skills, good writing skills, and good leadership skills.
