Qualifications
Education: College graduate with Master’s or other postgraduate training desirable
Experience: Medical risk management, insurance and/or legal experience.
Licensure: Certificate in Healthcare Risk Management strongly preferred
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Understanding of hospital and patient care operations, healthcare law, and appropriate Connecticut statutes and Public Health Code regulations, Federal regulations, JCAHO standards and FDA and OSHA regulations necessary.
