Description
Under general supervision, the pharmacist monitors drug therapy to optimize patient outcome, provides direct care to patients of all ages, consults and provides information to physicians, nurses and other health care workers, performs procedures to assure the quality of service, supervises technicians as they assist the pharmacist and dispenses compounds medications ordered by the physician. This position may require working at either campus or alternate sites to maximize institutional and departmental goals.

Qualifications
Per diem position.
Education: B.S. degree in Pharmacy
Experience: Hospital experience preferred.
Licensure: pharmacist license
Skills: Interpersonal skills, assessment and analytical abilities to provide pharmaceutical care, manual dexterity for the performance of pharmaceutical compounding techniques, keyboard skills.
