Requirements: A baccalaureate degree in a clinical science. Qualified as a General Supervisor or Technical Supervisor under CLIA-88. Certification as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (MT-ASCP) or equivalent. Completion of one year of clinical training in an accredited hospital laboratory, or equivalent clinical laboratory training. Six years of clinical laboratory experience in an accredited clinical laboratory required. Responsibilities: Will supervise all operations in the clinical chemistry section. Delivers accurate, cooperative and courteous service, and works collaboratively as part of the department team. Accepts supervisory responsibilities and performs supervisory duties in the clinical section. Continually reviews quality control data and maintenance records on instrumentation and equipment in an assigned clinical section. Performs patient testing in all clinical sections of the Laboratory.
