Position Summary:

Performs initial evaluation, establishes goals and plan of care for all new patients referred for treatment. Performs other duties as assigned.

II. Essential Functions:

* Performs initial patient evaluations, establishes goals and plan of care for all new patients referred for care.
* Performs a variety of physical therapy patient care activities with patients of all ages.
* Operates and maintains a variety of supplies and equipment.
* Supervises the clinical patient care of therapy assistants and techs.
* Provides all required documentation on each patient.
* Assists director with performance evaluations and competencies.
* Provides leadership in the absence of the director.
* Assists director with policy updates and JCAHO preparation.
* Clinical educator for PT and PTA students
