Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology or biological science from an accredited institution or equivalent.
Registered status requires ASCP, NCA or CLS certification.
MT (ASCP) certification or ASCP registry eligibility preferred.
Minimum of two years recent full time hospital bases experience performing all routine clinical assays including Blood Bank experience is preferred.
Must possess a high level of quantitative skills and demonstrate competency in using automated instruments and in performing manual methods of appropriate test procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific skills.
