Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the ability to assess and interpret data, determine patient care requirements and deliver Pharmaceutical care relative to the patients age. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with coworkers and professional staff.  Ability to set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.  Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.  Ability to read and understand and interpret current scientific literature.  Ability to effectively communicate orally on a one to one basis using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain information, explain policies and procedures, and to persuade others to adopt a specific opinion or action.  Evidence of good health and grooming.  Possesses sense of responsibility, initiative, and honesty.  Respects patient rights and confidentiality at all times, including verbal conversation and printed or written documents.  Flexibility to perform other tasks to meet the need of the department.  Maintains courtesy and decorum at all times.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited six-year Pharm.D. Program. Residency program highly preferred. Consideration will be given to those candidates with a Bachelors and Masters degree, who possess significant hospital pharmacy experience. Requirements: Current Florida State Board of Pharmacy License.
