Position Summary:
Evaluates, plans, delegates, and delivers patient care procedures upon referral from a physician.  Provides direct patient care to individuals of most ages (pediatric to geriatric) as the caseload demands.  Participates in team conferences, family conferences,  patient education, staff and community education, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and rehab screenings.  The P.T. assists and participates in performance improvement activities, infection control, departmental equipment training, and organizational safety.  Supervises and directs the P.T.A. Performs other duties as needed.
 
 
Qualifications
      Position Education/Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required.  Minimum Bachelor of  Science degree in Physical Therapy with current Florida Professional License required.  Maintains AHA CPR.  Is aware of department specific and hospital wide patient safety initiatives and complies with all patient safety initiatives pertinent to the department
