Recent experience in the specialty area is required
Coordinates the daily operation of assigned unit, including but not limited to, unit coordination; team building. Participates in interviewing, hiring, and corrective action process. Leads by example, demonstrating leadership abilities in accordance with the mission and philosophy Directs patient care activities of the nursing staff by assuring the delivery of sage, efficient, therapeutic, and compassionate nursing care. Participates in budget development and monitors compliance with budgetary parameters. Has 24 hour accountability for area of responsibility.
