BLS certification required
Registered Nurse currently licensed in the state of Florida.  Requires Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and Masters degree preferred in Nursing, Education, or related field.  Thorough knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practice,  with at least 5 years current experience in area of speciality and at least 2 years education experience. Working knowledge and expertise in education concepts and processes necessary for assessment, development, planning and implementation, and evaluation of learning. Experience with principals in continuous quality improvement, adult learning principles,  and program planning required. Basic life support instructor certification, and Advanced Life Support required within 6 months of employment in this position.  Management experience in healthcare preferred. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal relationship skills, internal consulting skills and above average computer skills (Microsoft, office and clinical information systems.)
