This position coordinates orientation and education programs for OB nursing staff in coordination with clinical staff, position influences quality patient care, promotes interdepartmental teamwork, enhances staff development, and participates in retention and recruitment activities. This position operationalizes adult learning theory in evaluating educational needs of the nursing staff, developing and teaching educational programs and inservices, position maintains effective relationships with staff, peers, preceptors and nursing directors to effectively promote staff education. Excellent communication skills and experience in developing, teaching and coordinating educational programs for adult learners. This position also requires strong organization, communication, group interaction and presentation skills.
