Description:
The Performance Improvement Coordinator assesses clinical systems, processes and outcomes to determine if the care delivered was appropriate, efficient and effective and in accordance with Best Practice Standards. Interacts with physicians and other care givers to identify opportunities to improve clinical processes and to ensure pertinent and timely resolution of potential quality concerns. Assists management and leadership to develop strategies to improve performance. Applies theoretical and practical knowledge to the review process by identifying significant clinical issues for referral and management. Facilitates multi-disciplinary approach to improve processes and facilitate change. Ensures timely and effective resolutions of patient care issues.

Bachelor degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. If RN, license to practice Nursing in Florida.
